Mobility Scooters

Airlines allow for electric scooters to be checked in on an airplane. The FAA approves these scooters because they meet one of the requirements below:
Sealed Lead Acid (AGM and Gel) - The scooter has sealed batteries that will not spill. You can leave these batteries attached to your scooter when checking it in as luggage.
Or
Lithium-Ion - Scooters with lithium batteries need to be disconnected before checking in your scooter.
